    Disapointing

Cheaply built - it has a very "tinney" and plastic feel to it. Display is VERY basic with minimal graphics display. It has a very noisy fan which sometimes stays on for a while after the timer time out. The alert sounder is quiet and very easy to miss if you are not listening for it. Overall, I am disappointed with the quality of this microwave!!

Worrying that didn't even last a year

This looked good with my black fridge-freezer and cooker but broke down after 8 months. Up until that point it did its job but annoyingly it did not start automatically with the 30 second cook button, you always had to press start. Also, other than in bright light it was hard to see what the buttons did. I stuck glow in the dark shapes on each of the most used buttons to help!

    Disappointing longevity

We purchased this microwave May 2019, it has worked well until today (used maybe 2-3 times a week for reheating food). Today there is no digital display and when you open the door the dish starts to revolve. On reflection, this is not a great product. Our last microwave lasted over 15 years and we only got rid of it as it was starting to look a little tired.

    Not the best!

So light that it slides back when you shut the door. Could be the weight, could be the tension on the latch. And although it actually admits to running on deliberately to cool down after use, it can randomly run on even if its only been on a matter of seconds. Very unnerving, having to reach in when it sounds like its still cooking!

Wish I'd kept the old one

Very awkward to use. Side door opening button takes a lot of pushing to open and have to hold the unit to stop it sliding back. Tin plate is enormous and the metal grill which sits on top is to high. Almost impossible to get what you've just grilled out without scalding yourself. If you want to micro just after, you have to find somewhere to put the hot plate and metal grill. 4 timer buttons a waste of time. Last one had a wheel to set timer and a pull down door where you could put hot food. It had a glass tray at the bottom and a slide in metal tray for oven. Haven't try any auto cooking yet as it's difficult enough to try ordinary stuff

    Below mediocre

The equivalent model that I'd bought 12 years ago was far superior, better made, solidly built. But I decided to trade that in for a "younger model" having fallen for the latest hype from Panasonic. This one is cheap quality overall and significantly noisier ! Don't watch the telly at the same time if you are using the oven in the microwave (what a racket!).

    Disappointed

    2/5
I recently purchased this model and have to say i am so disappointed,it was supposed to be similar to the NN-CT890S that it replaced , the controls are similar, but the CONVECTION side of it which i use mostly due to mobility issues has proved a disaster, On CONVECTION it "grills" the top of the food within minutes of baking or roasting, which has left me no option but revert with some difficulty to my family cooker. It is stylish ,but very light in weight which slides across my worktop when the controls are pressed, which I hasten to add is just a basic material not glossy,To combat this cork mats have had to be placed under the tiny feet. I have tried cooking pastry, chicken pieces etc and found they scorch within moments of cooking. I have had these Panasonic combination microwaves since 1990 so i do know how to use them, for some reason this model in my opinion has not come up to scratch,Sorry to say I would only recommend it for its other functions.

    Good Microwave

This is a great microwave, not so good as a grill. I havent tried the combination oven yet so cant comment. Looks great in my new kitchen and doesnt take up too much space
