Good product and nice looking. Power is good on all settings. A little noisier than my old one but this does the job well.

    Excellent Value for Money

This a well designed and constructed appliance which also looks good and is easy to install. It is efficient and economical to run and is relatively quiet, even at boosted speed, although the cat jumped about 4 feet the first time we used it. Today it sleeps on the worktop whilst it is in use, so even Jasper approves!!

    Great product

Have only just had this installed but so far it works as it should and looks great. The tradesman who fitted it only had good things to say about it and said that in his experience they are solidly built and will last a long time.

For the most part this is a good product but there were issues that maybe one-offs and there are issues that in my opinion are design flaws. First: The packaging is very poor and once the box was open it was clear that something had moved around in the box and made it impossible to lift the chimney shroud out separately from the main unit, so I had to cut the box completely apart. The problem turned out to be the black plastic box that contains the mains connection and circuit board stuff. It was supposed to be taped to the unit securely but had come away and jammed itself with the chimney cowl packaging, it didn't appear damaged but had a problem inside that I discovered later. Hanging the assembly on the wall was easy and electrical connections were all straightforward but the supplied adapter for the ducting (150mm down to 125mm) is a very poor fit to the flange above the fan. In fact I had to take the black circuit board box off again to fit the adapter with insulating tape in order to keep it in place and create an air tight seal. However, having connected everything I tried switching on and nothing happened. At all! No lights, no fan - nothing! I managed to check that the electrical feed was good into the black circuit board box so I took the cover off that and discovered that the ribbon cable down to the touch switch console was not plugged into the board. In fact it couldn't be plugged in because it was too short but several millimetres. I easily pulled some more of the ribbon cable up through the conduit and plugged it into the board and hey presto! All working. What I think happened was that the cable was pulled when the black box was flapping around in the packaging as described at the beginning of this tale. The way this black box is packaged and eventually attached to the assembly is very poor in design and not easy to get right. Interesting to note that it doesn't look quite like the drawing in the installation manual. The chimney shroud is quite loose too, it doesn't have anything to keep it in place, no screws or fixings at all, but luckily no vibration noises - yet! Finally my last issue is as an end user - IT"S VERY NOISY! Strangely it's not the fan motor that's the problem. it's the amount of moving air going through the flexible conduit. It's great to know it sucks out so much moist air from over the hob but my wife complains she can't hear the TV when the extract is turned on. So now I shall take it all apart again and see if I can acoustically insulate the ducting. My very first disappointing Samsung experience, all the others were good ones.
