Good oven, with enough features, but lacking the traditional grill pan.

    4/5
Great oven, with both top and bottom ovens able to be used as an oven or grill. The bottom oven also has fast preheat and fan options. The knobs can be pushed in when in the off position, allowing you to quickly see when everything is turned off. Looses one star due to the lack of a traditional grill pan which can easily be taken during cooking. Keep in mind that it's not fully self-cleaning - only the back of the oven has a self-clean coating - the rest is enamel, which is easy enough to keep clean, but isn't "self-cleaning".

    Great oven

Great, smart looking oven. Not as powerful as the one it was replacing but it was time for a new oven.

    Underwhelming and lacking

    2/5
It looks nice and built well, but it is somewhat lacking. You don't get enough oven trays - one and 2 halves. The 2 halves are a nightmare to use. You also have to use the rack setup for them to slide in to. It leaves the top oven grill somewhat lacking racks. The self-cleaning is non-existent and doesn't work. You leave the oven on full power for over an hour and the residual turns into dust. It doesn't. I would invest in a liner for the bottom before usage. The 3D heating isn't as impressive as it sounds - the item aren't evenly cooked and need turning in the oven.

Nice oven, shame about the control markings

    4/5
Bought as a replacement for a Siemens oven that stopped working after many years' service. As Bosch is the same company, the design & features are very similar, but this one has more options than the Siemens. The important thing for me is that there is a grill separate from the main fan oven. Things I like: smart appearance; the fast-heat option - although this oven seems to heat faster than the old one anyway; the option to push the buttons flush with the fascia. Things I don't like, and why it gets 4 rather than 5 stars: The heat controls have been designed so that the markings are faint, and the temperature range most likely to be used is marked underneath the projecting control, and to see these markings you have to bend over. This is very poor ergonomics. The oven is supplied with a deep universal pan that can be used as a grill pan, but it is not supplied with a wire rack to fit it. Luckily, I kept my old Siemens grill pan and rack, which also fit the new appliance. It is worth pointing out to potential purchasers that Bosch has an option to purchase 3 extra years' warranty to extend the total to 5 years.

    Replacement oven

    4/5
Still learning how to use it. Like most things but wish the marks on the dials were darker as have to use glasses every time I put the oven on.

All set for hot dinners again.

    5/5
A solid oven with easy controls. Pleasing appearance which complements the whole kitchen. Speedy delivery with updates en route. The controls are a little difficult to see but then I am in my late eighties and will soon become familiar with what they do. My son had no problems with them.

    Bosch built in double oven

    5/5
Really like my new built in double oven. The racks for the trays can be a bit tricky to use but we’re getting there. Apart from that, very good.
