Warms up quickly and does the job perfectly well. Looks very smart. Feels well made and solid.

    Excellent Oven

Bosch strike again. We were wary of paying so much for an oven but it was worth every penny (so Far). This is our first up the wall type oven after only ever having had under the counter type ovens. It is very quiet easy to use and most off all cooks very well and you can see the food without opening the door and letting the heat out. Highly recommended

My wife discovered the Bosch White double oven on the AO website to replace our long serving AEG double oven. So far it has worked a treat, although she says it's a bit woke. Following the operating instructions to a tee, it has everything and more to keep us happy - conjuring up new and old recipes.

Beautiful oven. Picture doesn’t do it justice. Looks stunning in my kitchen. Only negatives would be the 2 smaller trays included are not needed. They cost £60 on the Bosch website; so could have reduced the price of the oven instead. Also, I’m just over 5ft so the top oven is a bit difficult to reach… have to be careful not to burn your arms on the hot oven door, when removing heavy dishes from here. My last oven had the smaller oven at the bottom, so never had this problem before. The alarm isn’t very loud, but I use my smart speaker for alarms, so not a problem. The cooling fan goes on for ages, and in an age of saving energy, is this essential? As too, the clock…. Would be good to be able to switch these off.

    Poor value for money

I'm not too impressed. The temperature of the oven I received seems unreliable: It's about ten degrees higher than the dial says, eg when the dial says 200 degrees my thermometer -- which was accurate with my old oven -- measures 210. And when dial says 50 degrees, the heat is actually 60 degrees - ie a 20percent difference which is a lot when it comes to cooking food. Initially I was going to complain about it, and then wondered if a replacement oven would be any better. I also don't like the two half trays supplied with the oven, as they take up space to store but are no use to me. And the self-cleaning aspect, which initially seemed attractive, applies only to the back of the oven and doesn't seem to work well even there. So for an expensive oven, it's not very impressive. I preferred my old Neff oven in every way, but Neff have stopped making white ovens. Even there the new oven is a very stark shade of white which does not match my mid-white white cupboards, unlike my old one. However the oven cooks food, which is its main job, so in that sense it works. It just doesn't feel like a premium product.
