Best Oven I have ever had.

    5/5
I love this oven, cost rather more than I have paid for one before, but well worth the money it takes a little time getting used to the different settings, but so far the food I have cooked in it, have been a lot nicer than my previous oven, and have been ready in a shorter time. It is very useful having the baking tins that come with it, they don't need a shelf to sit on, sit independently in the oven. Having a setting where you can cook more food at the same time, is great especially at Christmas time, everything about it is great, would recommend it to anyone.

This is to replace a similar model which has lasted for 20 years! I have only had this one for two weeks but so far all is well and everything functions nicely.

Bought as replacement for unit in house at time I moved. Colour selected to fit in with other units - White not that popular these days it seems!. Looks good, is much more efficient than unit it replaced.

    Poor value for money

    2/5
I'm not too impressed. The temperature of the oven I received seems unreliable: It's about ten degrees higher than the dial says, eg when the dial says 200 degrees my thermometer -- which was accurate with my old oven -- measures 210. And when dial says 50 degrees, the heat is actually 60 degrees - ie a 20percent difference which is a lot when it comes to cooking food. Initially I was going to complain about it, and then wondered if a replacement oven would be any better. I also don't like the two half trays supplied with the oven, as they take up space to store but are no use to me. And the self-cleaning aspect, which initially seemed attractive, applies only to the back of the oven and doesn't seem to work well even there. So for an expensive oven, it's not very impressive. I preferred my old Neff oven in every way, but Neff have stopped making white ovens. Even there the new oven is a very stark shade of white which does not match my mid-white white cupboards, unlike my old one. However the oven cooks food, which is its main job, so in that sense it works. It just doesn't feel like a premium product.

    It's Bosch again for us

The Bosch built-in oven is the second model we have purchased within the past 18 years but with some updates to the previous Bosch oven. I worked within the kitchen industry some 30 years ago and the Bosch brand was the oven of choice for most customers.
