Simple to use and looks smart.

The microwave hasn't been in my new kitchen for long but so far very happy. Love the touch opening. I chose this microwave as I needed one that was narrow (in depth) enough to fit in a standard cupboard rather than a tower unit so I was limited with choice given my budget. I was also looking for a combi microwave which this isn't but settled for the grill option. I haven't tried that yet. I did spend more money than I intended but managed to get this in a sale so was quite lucky as I know that AEG products are high premium but have a good reputation. Also no problems with my interaction with AO and delivery.

Was pleased to find this microwave, as our old one (15 years old) was not very high, and it seems modern microwaves are bigger (we were restricted by the size of the unit). Out of a choice of four, this looked the best option and nearest to the spec of our old one. It has a nice clean looking design, the controls are easy and responsive for touch buttons. It works very well, it has the clever trick of always presenting the dish exactly as you placed it on the plate at the end, so the handle of a cup, say, always faces you. One touch of the start button it will cook at the selected power in increments of 30 seconds (very handy). We turned off the sound, it was really loud! A volume level would have been useful, and our old machine had a keep warm facility which was handy and kept food warm until you took it out of the microwave (we miss this really). It looks good with our other appliances. Apart from the two small negatives, I would have given it 5 stars.

Expensive but good built in product looks good when built in.

I love the new fitted microwave! Very powerful for a 800W microwave and live the grill option. Also, it is matching with my AEG oven. Lastly, not too difficult to fit even for a DIYer.

Excellent replacement for our original microwave which has lasted nearly 15 years. The additional grill produced great toasted sandwiches ??

Awkward to fit with the additional bracket, but otherwise seems excellent.
