Beko high-level grill ,oven under temperature .

    3/5
After the grill was connected, manufacturers assembly damage was noticed, spoke to an advisor all sorted in 3 minutes. Have used the oven for around a week, noticed the oven isn't to temperature so bought an auxiliary thermometer and its way off . With the correct temperatures it cooks well, the hob and grill are excellent and easy to use,the enamelled surfaces are easy to clean , although it is a budget cooker I would expect a better oven ,maybe cover some of the holes in the oven to retain heat better.

    Perfectly adequate for the investment.

We ordered this cooker as a stop-gap between our old one and having a new kitchen. There are many aspects that are fine - it was delivered on time by two very nice guys, who took away the old one. The new cooker's strong points are the rings, rather than the oven. It's clean, relatively well built for the money (you get what you pay for) and the eye level grill is unusual to get these days. The oven is a little small, and although it sounds like it's roaring away, isn't quite as powerful as it might be. That said, it's done its first big Sunday roast, and it came out well, albeit taking a little longer than its predecessor. The storage space at the bottom is very useful, and the internal light/ignition button works great. If you want a cheap-ish cooker, with eye level grill, you could do a lot worse.

    Disappointing Product Support

Sadly, the oven does not work properly and Beko can’t arrange for an engineer to inspect until 17 September. To be without the use of a functioning oven for over two weeks since installation is extremely poor service.

    Should be good eventually......

Well this looks lovely and I am pleased with it, but It is smaller than I thought, but that ok. However, what I am really disappointed with, is that the one we got has got a dodgy thermostat and we have had to wait a week until we can use it, as it doesn't heat up properly and took 3.5 hours to cook a roast. hopefully once the thermostat is replaced it will work ok....

    Beko KA52NEW

Although the "Beko KA52NEW eye level grill cooker" is good value for money, I had to actually fit the top half of the cooker together ( no mean feat ) and there was no connector pipe supplied - I don't recall being made aware of this - Their optional charge of £80+ for fitting it was so horrendous considering the simplicity of connecting it . . . . . . .

    Does the job

Two things that would improve this cooker would be deeper shelves in the oven and the larger hob ring to the rear (for safety) with a medium and small ring at the front

We got the new Beko cooker from AO.com. They were fantastic and delivered the next day at 7.35 am. We had the whole day to get it sorted then so thanks AO. When we unwrapped the cooker there were 4 chips in the white enamel paintwork. One of them is between the grill and the hob, so it is fully on show. This is a shame as the cooker assembled OK and the grill and oven tests carried out OK. The oven did smell and the house had the smell for a couple of days. The grill test set off our smoke alarm. I sent an email to Beko customer services with the photo`s of the chips. They tried to blame it on delivery damage but I would not accept that. They are sending a service engineer to sort it out.

    Pack flat cooker

Had I known that the whole of the raised part for the grill had to be lifted and connected up, I would not have purchased this product. The booklet was useless. I still have some sort of metal plate that I don't know what its for. No wonder it is a £85 connection fee (the cooker only cost £270). My plumber was less than that but it took much more work than a simple connection to the gas supply.
