The hobs and the main oven are fine, the delivery was spot on but the top grill is VERY wobbly and to the point of being dangerous. I opted not to go with the expensive £90 installation but with someone who I have known and installed other products and serviced my boiler for twenty years for half the price. My telephone call with AO resulted in a promised engineer visit only to receive an email a couple of hours later saying that they won’t send an engineer as it wasn’t installed by them! So, what am I supposed to do with a gas cooker with an unusable top part? Previous dealings with AO have been fine but after two more unhelpful emails from them, I won’t be using them again.

A O DONT TELL YOU IN THE ADVERTISING THAT THE EYE LEVEL GRILL AND IGNITION SYSTEM WILL NEED TO BE ASSEMBLED AND IT DOES NOT COME WITH A GAS HOSE AND CONNECTIONS SO YOU NEED A GAS ENGINEER TO SORT IT ALSO THE COOKER IS FLIMSY AND JUST A RUBBISH ITEM THANKS FOR NOTHING! KEITH HD58LQ

I had particularly wanted a gas cooker with an eye level grill to replace my old one, Parkinson Cowen. This sturdy old work horse made toast on the grill very quickly. This was my priority. The Beko grill I have just bought takes ages to heat up and cannot be used for toast. I have had to start using a toaster, which is slower than my old grill. The oven is small so I shall have to use narrower trays. The jet's markings are not organised in ways you would expect so have to be read each time. I shall have to mark them more clearly. The stove jets work well enough but I have continued to use my microwave rather than do much cooking on the cooker which has been such a disappointment.

Up to and including delivery, all good. Delivered on the Wednesday, by Friday the grill had stopped working. By Sunday it was the grill and two of the burners. Not impressed!

Sadly damaged on arrival. Have emailed AO FOUR TIMES all I get is send images of damage which I HAVE FOUR TIMES!! not good AO not what my 88 year old aunt wants!!

My husband wrote the first review of this and I had told him the cooker was fine. This was before I had actually done much cooking with it. Now I have a completely opposite opinion of it. oven is useless. I have had technicians from both ao and beko check it. I have also spoken on the phone with a customer service person from beko. She said the installation was wrong and there must be gas leak. Strangely enough we haven/t been gassed! The ao guy said it was a faulty thermostat, which is what I thought and seemed obviously to be the problem. The beko guy said the door seal was worn on cooker only 4 months old!! A new one has been fitted but has made no difference what so ever. A plain sandwich cake .takes 1 hour 15 minutes to bake and still isn/t properly done. I have had few cookers in my life, this is definitely the worst ever, a complete waste of money Don't waste yours

I bought this cooker for my elderly father as it was the style he is used to. Unfortunately not long after the 1 year warranty (1 year for a cooker?) it started becoming difficult to use. The burners do not light easily, and the oven has stopped working. I am in the process of raising this with Beko.

Not very good.We had a replacement, Grill didnt ignite and Oven took an age to cook...Replacement ,well its the Oven,it just doesnt heat to the right settings Gas 7(220c) is Gas 5(190C) etc etc,called ao who have been helpful,and arranged for a Beko engineer to come out!!The Engineer quite frankly didnt really want to know,and told me just to turn the oven knob up to increase heat,and said he cant do anything its just one of those things,what!!!And signed it off as no fault??Manual is odd as well,shows different knobs etc although states its the model....Anyway its going back,if you read carefully reviews re Beko freestanding gas cookers,many people have mentioned the Oven temp settings as a problem,Gas Mark 7 should be Gas Mark 7 (220c),shouldnt it?And all other settings!!
