The cooker was delivered 2 weeks ago. Initially I was worried because the pans seemed to slide across the hob like a puck on an air hockey table. However, the smooth surface has now roughened and the problem is less serious. I expect that in time, wear and tear to the top of the hob will stop the pans sliding around. I read other reviews about the oven temperature being low and this is true. I preheated the oven to gas mark 5 and put in a ready meal for 30 minutes as per the cooking instructions and the food was dangerously under-cooked. From what I can tell the temperature settings cannot be calibrated. I have bought an oven thermometer and measured the temperature on all five shelves at all the oven setting from 2 to 9. Even the top shelf is a lot cooler than it should be. I have made a chart and taped it on the grill front next to the BEKO symbol so that I can use my chart to set the dial depending upon the shelf used and temperature required. I don’t understand why the manufacturers cannot sort out this apparent design error. All they need is to change the collar around the oven dial for one having the numbers in the right place. Other then the problems mentioned, I am happy with this cooker.

Very happy with our new cooker, especially the eye level grill and higher oven, ideal when you struggle to get down to low level things.

The eye level grill was a nightmare to assemble, even the Gas Safe engineer was flummoxed by the vague instructions. Had I realised how frustrating it would be I'd have paid the extra for somebody else to do it, definitely a two person job initially.

So very happy with AO. Customer service, delivery drivers, online payment all excellent. However couple of things to note. I hadn’t appreciated the cooker came in two pieces. The instruction manual is poor to say the least. Got there in the end and the cooker works fine. But if you don’t want stress pay the £80 installation. I don’t like to be beaten so saw it’s construction as a challenge. But there are better ways to spend a Sunday afternoon. Overall my Mum was pleased so that’s good enough for me.

brilliant high level grill oven has a light and timer but oven top is slippy frightened my pans would slip so had to get myself a cooker guard

My Mum’s old cooker, after many years of great service ( possibly 25-30) eventually gave up. Mum had liked the eye level grill and was used to the cooker she had ( she’s 90 years old this year) and wanted something similar. The product is ideal easy to open oven - 4 efficient rings with an igniter - looks good and eye level grill perfect for when bending down becomes difficult . The perfect product !

It is great to have an eye level grill. The requirement to hold the tap in for 10 seconds takes getting used to but is a good safety device We were surprised that there is an electric plug from the cooker as it has a bulb and the ignition switch. This was not readily seen on the adverts for the cooker! Lead was not long enough to plug in. The oven appears to cook cooler than my previous one so I up it by one regulo.

The cooker was just what we wanted the glass door with the interior light is a great feature, the grill is wider than old cooker so cooks more evenly, even got a timer so even I don’t forget when food is done. All in all very pleased indeed. great cooker and a great price.
