    Super fast and looks great!!

I had a 13yrs old ceramic hob that although still worked was becoming a bit old. I couldn't get rid of stains on the glass. I decided on an induction hob and don't regret it one bit!! It's a massive change! Everything is so quick, it's amazing. I had to have a hob using less than 6000 watts because my installation didn't allow a higher level. My oven is connected to the same 13amp plug. It works exactly the same but use less electricity so a win/win! Easy to use, looks nice and super fast! Love it!

    Great purchase AEG ILB64334CB

Have used the AEG ILB64334CB 59cm Induction Hob for a few days now and think it's fantastic - it has amazing features like faster induction heating compared to our previous electric hob. The 4 induction zones, give safe responsive cooking and the hob heats your pans and not the surface to save energy. The Boost mode which provides a powerful burst of heat which is great for boiling water is a superb feature, it literally boils 1.5 ltr in just 90 seconds. Can only use one power boost on one hob at any time unlike other hobs on the market. When using power boost the temperature on the other hobs are reduced. Controls are easy to use and easy cleaning. The hob is of good quality and a good looking design. Not the cheapest of hobs on the market but a decent brand, design, functions and easily cleaned. I believe a reasonable price. Install was easy, it is a plug in so had to install a socket on the wall first and this should be mentioned more clearly in advertising and set up pages.

    Clean, Efficient and Feature Rich

    4/5
This is my first induction hob; we had a faulty gas hob with only two working burners replaced with the AEG induction hob and I’m converted. I’ve always liked the principles behind an induction hob, the fuel source can be sustainable unlike gas, the top is flat unlike gas, induction is hugely more efficient unlike gas and unlike ceramic hobs. Naturally I had to dredge through all of our pans and rehome those made from aluminium and purchase a saucepan or two to recomplete the set, but I’m so happy we did, the heat up time on a single hob is shockingly fast, I used to warm the pan whilst chopping onions but I nearly set fire to the oil doing this. Moments before you’re ready to cook, just hit the P for the ring you need and the induction magic begins. The hob has modes 1-9 then P and A above those, the interface is straight forward enough with up/down and power buttons for each hob where you would expect them, in the centre of the controls there’s even a timer screen, you can set a timer for each ring and it will turn off the ring when the time is up. Awesome. The glass top is infinitely easier to clean than the wrought iron pan stands of a gas hob. I only have only one complaint that I’ll have to work around. With a gas burner I can have all the burners on full whack at any point. Since this hob plugs into a socket, the power it can draw is limited, you cannot have more than one ring on boost at the same time, if you have multiple rings on the higher side, it will limit the output to feed the ring demanding the most power, don’t think about setting off two pans to boil cold water at the same time.

    Fantastic Hob

This replaced my 10 year old induction and what a difference. My other half hard wired this in but it does come with a plug attached which makes life so much easier for lots. It is unbelievably responsive and very simple to use. My old one required a lot of patience and light touches to get it started but this is just feels smooth and effortless. You are also able to put things on it without it beeping (my old one beeped) which is useful when say unloading the shopping. It has a timer function which you can set for each individual pan which is a huge game changer. Once the time is up, it automatically turns off the heat to that pan which is pretty nifty. There is an option to heat things up really quickly with a touch of a button. Say if you needed water boiled for pasta it turns the temperature all the way up, avoiding the need to cycle through all the temperatures to get there. It is also unbelievably fast on that setting. In about a min, your water is boiling depending on the size of the pan obviously. Much much faster than my old one. It is very quite, in fact you wouldn't even know it was on unless you saw the lights. Even when it has been on for over an hour, you cannot hear the fan cooling it down which is a plus. On the whole, I love this hob and would recommended it. It of course looks fantastic and is very well made. It feels sturdy so to speak.
