Our AEG Induction Hob, It is so good and so quick to come to boil and very controllable and looks great, a great bit of kit.

Lovely black glass finish. Subtle pan markings. Simple touch controls. Timer is useful. Pause button is great if you get a phone call. The hob is shallow enough that it doesn’t descend into the drawer below. It’s clever, so you can’t use a pan that’s too small for a large profile position. I like a large pan position close to the front - handy for flipping eggs. Also like small pan position near the front for stirring sauces. It heats things differently. It does buzz when it’s on superheater mode until it reaches it’s required temperature. At temperature there is a barely detectable faint hum. The fan starts once things get hot. Only works with induction pans, check with the magnet test. Must be fitted by a qualified electrician. Really like this hob.

Really happy with my new induction hob, I had the previous model and this model heats up alot faster and powerful. A 4/5 on this would be 7/8 on the old model. The negative 1 star is the ring markings should be brighter and clearer. AO delivered it on time and provided a full informed fantastic service from purchase to delivery, perfect so thanks to AO.

Nice induction hob with the benefit of power boost, a wide cooking area and cooling fans underneath. Looks nice with a chamfered edge all round. The controls could be a little better thought out, took at least two reads of the manual to understand.

Not only has it 4 areas but one of them can be switched to a 'long' setting for larger oval pans.

I have used induction hobs for the past 25 years but this is my first AEG model and I am delighted with it. The layout of the cooking zones is much more practical than my previous model for example having both the largest and smallest zones at the front. These are very practical for cooking which requires frequent stirring such as risotto or sauces without having to reach to the back of the hob over other steaming pans. The flexi zone at the back is also very useful. This AEG model also has 4 power boost zones and unlike my previous hob I have been able to use more than one boost at a time. My old hob would only allow me to use one boost zone at a time. I find the controls easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

Fantastically easy to use and keep clean, looks amazing. I had it fitted by AO the guys could not have been more helpful and considerate, thoroughly professional. Really versatile hob, and I am thoroughly pleased with it. Did I mention it was fantastic value, as well as being top notch quality.

Works fine, but I was expecting better. Looks feels and works just like cheaper units. I also had to contact AEG for a fault in the unit and the experience wasn't great.
