    Great Hob

    5/5
Delighted with this product. Be careful not to drop anything on the glass as it’s not exactly bombproof. Works brilliantly and love the timer function which turns off the relevant pan at the time you’ve programmed. Great bit of kit.

    Game Changer

    5/5
Thrilled with the hob, upgrading user of induction technology, previously used gas for the instant response but this is a real game changer. Packaging was as minimal as possible yet well protected. The hob does not work unless you put a pan on it, super easy to clean which means it consistently looks great. I would say it heats quicker than gas, you don’t get the hot spots you get on gas. I have a huge Paella pan so I am going to try the feature using multiple areas - will update with any feedback. Safe for children which is a great feature. Amazingly quick to boil water. Should have changed to induction years ago.

    incredible hob!

    5/5
From the moment I started using it, I noticed a remarkable difference in the quality of my cooking. The even heating and temperature maintenance have truly revolutionised the way I prepare my meals. Gone are the days of burnt food stuck to the bottom of the pan or unevenly cooked dishes! One of the standout features of this hob is its smart distribution system, which allows me to comfortably use larger frying pans and griddles. This has been a game changer for me, especially when hosting family gatherings or preparing meals for a crowd. The spacious cooking surface ensures that every dish turns out perfectly, every time. This hob operates quietly, allowing for a peaceful and enjoyable cooking experience. And thanks to its stunning appearance it has become a focal point in my kitchen and never fails to impress visitors.

    Fantastic

    5/5
This hob is a brilliant product from AEG. There's plenty of cooking space for a number of pans and the heat options are plentiful. The power setting brings the pans to temperature super quickly and the range of heat from 1-14 means there's a much greater ability to mange cooking temperatures effectively. The ability to slide fingers across the controls to adjust numbers is a much better than constantly pressing a plus or minus button. The SenseBoil function seems to work well and the ability to combine two of the cooking zones if needs be is a nice option. The slick, slim design looks great and is so easy to clean, which keeps the kitchen looking tidy everyday!

    Time for an Upgrade? Yes.

    5/5
I have been using an AEG induction for 7 years so I thought it would be a good time to try an upgraded model. Same sleek and modern look with some upgraded technology. The first benefit is that it fitted into the cut-out perfectly, which made the installation effortless for the installer. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. The Hob works beautifully immediately. It is easy to use and the controls being off centre is definitely an improvement from the previous model. The first thing I cooked on the Sunday morning was scrambled eggs. We prefer soft eggs that are slow cooked and it seemed that the new device was easier to manage the heat of cooking compared to the previous unit. Perfect eggs were effortless. Very happy. Later in the day, I cooked rice. The Sensor Boil functionality is impressive. Regularly, on the previous AEG, the rice would boil over. This time, it was perfect. The technology prevented the rice boiling over and in 25 minutes it was cooked perfectly. Light, fluffy and every grain separated. I have used it for a week, as I do all the cooking at home, and it has been great so far. Definitely an improvement to the last model

    Top of the range hob

    5/5
I already have an AEG oven which is performing incredibly well so I had my expectations for the induction hob set very high. And I surely wasn’t wrong! The first impression from opening the box was that the hob looked very sleek and elegant. The installation was pretty straightforward and our installer said it was one of the easiest hobs he has dealt with – with the brackets built in for easy mounting. The simple and intuitive control panel makes it very easy to start cooking, without the need to read instructions. I love how powerful the hob is – I can get a small pan with water to boil in less than a minute, considerably quicker than on my old hob. The good thing is that the hob cools down as quick, reducing the risk of scalding and which is a great feature is having kids or pets which may try to touch the surface. The cooking zones detect the pan sizes so it is only ever the pan that and the surface directly underneath that it getting hot – I have spilled some sauce on the hob next to the pan and it did not get burnt at all. What is very useful too is the double bridge option - where two zones on the left side can be joined into one big zone for using big pots or griddle pan. Another great feature is the timer that can be set separately for each of the 4 zones, meaning they can all switch off at various times if needed. I have had so many compliments about the hob since having it installed as it blends perfectly into my contemporary style kitchen. What used to be a chore to prepare Sunday dinner is now a pleasure as the cooking time is greatly reduced and the surface itself is easy to clean meaning less time spent on cleaning too. My next purchase over the coming months will be the AEG cooker hood which can ‘talk’ with the hob for the most optimal use. To summarise, this is very high quality induction hob. It may appear a bit pricey however it is well worth the money. I will definitely recommend this product.
