Perfect fit as a relacemt for a very very old hob.

Great to have space between the 4 rings when using larger pots. Only issue is there isn't a large round element, only the oblong one which doesn't fit my larger pots well.

looks smart and sleek, heats up well and easy to fit. happy so far with what i have used it for. feels like better quality than the Rangemaster its replaced. touch controls appear responsive, nice feature being able to adjust 2 of the main rings to enlarge the cooking surface.

This is such a stylish hob, easy to use and so many really useful functions. Amazingly quick and efficient. Fits all sizes of pans, so clever I love it

Loved the new hob straight out of the box. Easy to install in existing cut-out as a replacement for an old unit. Easy to operate and child-proof lock and plate still hot (H) display are very useful features. Control of the heat output from the rings is superb. Only gripe (which resulted in 4, not 5, stars) is highly polished top is easily scratched. It's a recognised issue and mentioned in the operating instructions. My anodised aluminium pans otherwise work very well. This problem seems to exist with all ceramic hobs (not just Bosche) so I'm surprised that the industry has not designed a suitably tough finish to prevent superficial damage.

I am very pleased with my ceramic hob. The cooking zones, 2 medium rings, 1 dual ring and 1 extended zone ring are very well designed and give flexibility. The controls are very easy to understand, I could use the hob immediately without having to constantly refer to the instuction booklet. The zones heat up quickly and cool down relatively quickly for a ceramic hob.. I like the pause button which turns all the rings down, very useful if you get interrupted while cooking. I am not sure how well the brushed steel surround will stand up to kitchen life but otherwise well pleased with my purchase.
