    Disappointed

Nice fridge, Smeg brand has always been good quality so I jumped at this at the price. I wish I had seen it in person rather than bought online though, it’s tiny inside !! If you put 2 x 2 pint milk bottles in the lower rack on the door, the retaining rail pops out. I bought this for my 90 year old mother’s kitchen as a replacement for her elderly LEC that had broken the catch on the ice box and was freezing up. I’m going to have to find a better option and remove this one to my shed as a back up for me to keep a very small amount of things in

    Exchange of fridge

Unfortunately the product I ordered was unsuitable when it arrived as it was too small and had a freezer box inside. I therefore rang AO and after looking through the selection chose a more suitable fridge and was efficiently exchanged fir the electra.

Smeg by name, not necessarily Smeg by nature.

Look, it’s fine: it’s a very compact under counter fridge that is light to move and not too noisy. But put aside any illusions that it comes with any trademark Smeg bells and whistles. The door shelves, for me, are the most disappointing, with strange bands that pop out at the slightest provocation. The ice box seems well- constructed albeit very compact. Hard to adapt to after owning a full-sized fridge-freezer. But hopefully does the job, just.

    Door storage wasted!

    3/5
The fridge is just about okay, very quiet, the freezer box takes up quite a bit of storage space. The door is the main problem it will only hold a small bottle of milk approx 2 pints, wine bottles will not fit and need to be stored laying down on a shelf, most of the door space is useless. Generally a good product just needs the door redesigning.

    Smeg fridge

    3/5
A nice fridge that does most of what we wanted. The reason for a downgrade to 3 stars is that you cannot fit a 4 pint bottle of milk into the door or on a shelf. We’ve had to remove the top shelf to accommodate our milk which has lost half of the storage space. A poor design.

    could be better

Very little choice at this size but I chose Smeg because of it's good rep Very similar to previous LEC fridge both of which leave condensation drips on back wall and have a tendency to freeze things at back of fridge. The ice box/freezer compartment is a good size for such a small fridge. The egg storage is handy. The shelves in the door very narrow: 2pts milk max size and there is a plastic bar to hold things in place which pops out too easily. So all in all you get what you pay for. I would happily pay more for a fridge which doesn't have these drawbacks but as I said, there is little choice

exvellent fridge ruined by poor design

    3/5
Fridge door is useless poorly designed. Not wide enough for glass or plastic milk bottles. Door fix shelves pop out. Comes with crisper cover (shelf) and one shelf. An extra shelf cost £40 odd quid! Without this you can't make full use of fridge
