We ordered days before lockdown, delivered OK but sat in box until we could get our kitchen and fitters to do the job. Looks really nice. We've used the BBQ for cooking mostly during isolation in lockdown. But after using oven a handful of times we called hotpoint for a engineer to check it. When putting main oven on the top oven gets way to hot inside to warm plates or even touch. Control knobs and front plate get too hot to touch. Hotpoint engineer has seen this before on this model and we are waiting further instructions of what's next. Beyond repair we think. We heard someone else burnt their hand on the control facia on the front. Be careful. It's a shame because looks great.

Good looking oven, does not cook to required temperature. AO very helpful about compliant, Hotpoint not very helpful, would not buy again.

I loved this oven - clean lines, simple to operate, etc. Within a short time we realised that every time we used it for roasting meat or veg, puddles of water were appearing in the pan cupboard underneath and on the kitchen floor. As fast as we mopped them up, they returned. Hotpoint sent out THREE engineers in succession, one of whom installed a narrow strip of metal at the base of the main oven that was supposed to 'collect the water'. Needless to say, it was useless. Over the past few months (lockdown got in the way), the cupboard doors above and below the oven have been damaged by the damp. I was told by Engineer No 3 that oven manufacturers are removing the vents in order to comply with energy regulations and they are getting a huge number of complaints. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN!

The knobs on the side are good but the markings are not very clear. Also the hob marks very easily. Having said that, it is a more reasonably priced hob.

Item fitted quickly & looks good but following morning found Top oven/grill did not work - Hotpoint engineer fitted new element 6 days later. As we've only partially been able to use it difficult to comment on all features.

Looks good in my kitchen as other reviews stated grill plan a little small so I kept my grill from previous oven. Not used the main oven yet . Fitting fairly simple to replace like for like size I oven housing. Guarantee doesn’t seem very good when I rang to submit to 10 yr guarantee there seems to be more not included than included, but at least it was free.

Nice cooker, easy to install but unfortunately the timer wouldn't work. Hotpoint are sending someone to repair it but its over a week with no oven.... Ps. The AO delivery guys were excellent
