We bought this to replace a multi-zone ceramic hob that had cracked across after just one year's use (not a Belling). I fitted this Belling hob myself and it was very easy, taking just 20 minutes after removing it from the package. We were immediately impressed with the look and quality of finish. And we found it is very easy to use. The rings heat up quickly and pans come to the boil very quickly - much faster than the previous hob. We particularly like the safety feature of the on/off switch and the dual zone ring which is very handy when using a larger pan such as a wok or casserole pot. Two slight criticisms are that the instructions for use of the dual zone ring are not crystal clear and it took a few trial and error tries to understand how to use it. Also the extended warranty leaflet included in the packaging was out of date and when we tried to buy the warranty cover, we were offered a much less attractive insurance product. Overall though we are pleased with this hob

Product is really good. Easy to use and great value

Had a Belling before for 9 years - I dropped something on the old hob - so I caused the problem. Chose Belling again as such a good make . The new hob does what it says on the tin , no problems with it , and would recommend. Heats up quickly , easy to work the hob.

Fantastic hob, replaced a bulky traditional one and this looks very sleek and stylish. Really like the controls and seems pretty simple to use. Heats up and cools down pretty quickly for an electric hob and was nice and easy to install.

The hob works but doesn't seem to give as much heat as our previous Belling hob so if you make jam and need to bring it to a good rolling ball this may not be for you. Otherwise it seems to be OK although the touch controls seem to a bit tempremental - the hob goes off sometimes at unexpected moments (although this may be because we're not familiar with it yet).

Good value for money and easy to operate. Only takes a little while to get used to pressing the touch control for the cooking zone before increasing or decreasing the power.

Very easy to use and control. Would recommend this hob to my friends if they were looking for a reasonably priced appliance with a great finish.

I purchased the Belling ceramic hob to replace my faulty existing hob. The hob is excellent. The touch controls are far more responsive when adjusting the selected variable heat settings. The double ring option is ideal for the larger pans and faster heating. It looks good and has an easy clean cosmetically pleasing glass surface. Would recommend.
