    Cannon gas cooker

    4/5
Very smart looking gas cooker. Somewhat perturbed that when oven cooking, it keeps switching itself off and on as if being regulated by a thermostat. Why can it not maintain a constant flame like my last Cannon cooker? I am impressed by the burner arrangement on the hob. I would have given 5 stars were it not for the "new" oven cooking mode.

    Great cooker

    5/5
Waited to write a review It’s perfect. The first time I used the oven it kept going off I phoned customer services. They told me that this cooker does this to keep at the right temperature. And it works. Perfect cooked roast and perfect sponge cakes It looks so good to After reading reviews after reviews and something was always putting me out other cookers I purchased this one with no reviews and so pleased I did

1st impressions, looks & build quality were very good, it is Cannon after all, that's the good points, food cooks nicely but takes too long. Hob, oven, grill control diagrams are too small and hard to see given they are flush mounted & light reflects off the curved surface-you have to bend down and look closely to see them on the panel- The worst aspect of this cooker-the oven flame goes on & off (energy saving) to maintain inner temperature, it should reignite within 15 seconds-any longer and it must be switched off and restarted, when flame does relight there is a boom inside oven which rattles shelving and is quite unsettling & it does this often, A few times more than 15 secs have passed and had to switch off, not sure if faulty or paranoid it might explode. Overall I would not recommend this cooker as you have to stay in constant attendance to monitor and make sure oven flame goes on and off within the 15 second window. 2 stars is being generous.
