    Oven bulb massive problem

    2/5
It cooks nicely, the hob works well, and is reasonably easy to clean, The oven cleaned on the P setting. Happy with that. The oven light bulb went out after about 6 weeks, I ordered a box of 4 from Amazon, read the SMEG instruction booklet on bulb changing.... got a screwdriver, seems I was tucked behind the whole frame, not just the glass, it's where the screwdriver found, I was wearing a headtorch for visibility, which is what I wear in my day job as an Audi Master Technician, so the light frame is badly engineered, thankfully I noticed and forced the screwdriver in between the glass and the frame, when the glass popped out, the insulation crumbled to nothing on the floor of the oven. So that is now useless. I had to insert three bulbs before one finally stayed alive whilst refitting the rack support, which has to clip in somewhat violently (it's slightly out of alignment) causing 2 bulbs to blow. On the third attempt I literally treated it like a 5 week old kitten, and kept the bulb live. I notice that it's impossible to remove the glass with a screwdriver, as instructed without damaging the oven wall. I have been delighted with this appliance up until today, I accepted the bulb blowing so soon as one of those things.

    Great 70cm cooker

    5/5
Wonderful cooker, easy to install, looks fantastic and cooks fast with a nice big oven—I wish there were more 70cms like this.

    Excited to start using

Looks amazing. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I haven’t yet practised enough (I’m new to an electric oven) to rate the ovens performance Really wish it came with a guide to all the oven program symbols

    Slick and easy to use!

    5/5
Great oven! Perfect for the size needed, slick and easy to use. Definitely recommend to get this new and not a discounted one from another site. They are all dented and not worth the discount.. this is the nicest cooker I've had yet. Smeg did great with this one! Thanks Ao.

SMEG elegance and a touch of cleaning magic!

    5/5
Love my new cooker! It has an easy to clean hob and the 5th burner is REALLY handy. I was initially concerned that I didn't have a separate grill compartment but it does the same job and is a much better use of cooking space. The pyrolytic cleaning function is amazing, makes light work of a frankly awful job without the need for additional strong smelling cleaning products. In all honesty I will probably only use a few of the many different cooking functions ad my culinary skills are not in the 'cordon bleu' category, but it is easy to understand. It has a handy seperate storage space at the bottom and overall, I couldn't be happier. It looks great, does everything I need and more.....if only it would have my dinner ready when I get home from work it would be perfect......in fact I think there may even be a function for that too!!

Single mam ,like products easy to use

Very pleased. Looks good, works like a dream.

    5/5
Really good, looks lovely in my kitchen, other reviews have said it’s loud, but it’s no louder than the oven it replaced, so just standard volume I guess. It has a slide out oven rack which I love. Instructions don’t state what oven function relates to the symbol, but a quick google search sorted that. We were replacing a 70cm oven and choices aren’t as vast and prices are higher, but for us it was worth the money, otherwise alterations to our kitchen would’ve cost more anyway. Would recommend.
