    Bargain price - budget features

    4/5
Spoiled ourselves with this in our new kitchen as we'd always wanted a wine cooler. This seems to the be the mid-range version (there is a cheaper version with fewer features) and for the price I can't really complain. Set up was easy enough and the instructions are simple enough to understand. This is only a single zone so not too complex. I have two gripes. The main one is the operating noise, it is a constant hum (much louder than our fridge and freezer combined) although there is a quiet mode (it seems to take a long time to get to temperature). The second one is the LEDs. There are a couple at the top of the unit which give light to the top two shelves but then the rest of the unit is in relative darkness. Neither issue is a deal breaker, the wine is chilled and the unit looks smart.

    Poor item

Not good at all , need to return for another model, compressor too loud & too complicated to turn light on !

    Overall a good little unit

    4/5
Very good fridge and like the light that can be left on or off, looks really nice with steel exterior and glass door and matches kitchen perfectly. Shelves do seem slightly flimsy but can't see that being too much of an issue unless used extremely often. Can seem a touch noisy even in quiet mode, more then a standard fridge but not extreme. Overall a good unit for a normal kitchen.

    Amica Wine Cooler

    4/5
The product arrived well packaged which was really easy to remove alone. There's some assembly to be done, just four screws, allowing the adjustable plinth to drop to floor level once placed. The chiller is simple and intuitive to use, quiet and chills wine quickly. The clean design and wooden shelving gives the Amica a smart appearance and a quality feel beyond expectation at the price sold.

Does the job fine, but noisier than I expected

    4/5
The Amica wine fridge, looks lovely and has a temperature range of 5-17 degrees centigrade. Easy to install and works fine. It is slightly noisier than the wine fridge it replaced, which surprised me. It doesn't sound like a helicopter, but is noisier than the big fridge freezer.

    very impressed with this cooler

    5/5
We settled on this wine cooler after extensive reviewing of similar fridges. Our previous wine cooler stopped working after 12 years of good service and was beyond economical repair. We read various comments on build quality and noise and after careful consideration decided that this represents good value for it price point. I was a little apprehensive about ghd noise levels as it is described as 47db and our old one was 42db. However I can say with certainty that this is way quieter. So very pleasantly surprised. The drawers are of a comparable quality however they are a little closer together than before and are only really suitable for standard bottles. Processco drinkers may notice the tight fit but they will go in. This model fits under the counter very well and looks great with the rest of the kitchen. All in all this the same model as the AEG but about £150 cheaper.

    Wine chiller

Looks great in the island and does the job, the bottom section is short and won’t take a bottle of wine but will take bottles of beer or soft drinks.
