    Great compact deep fat fryer

Great compact fryer - this is an excellent fryer that is very simple to use. It will fry enough chips for two generous portions so if you need to cook more, you will need to cook in batches - to make it easier I recommend you part cook all the chips first on 170, then finish them off at 190 to crisp up. I like that this deep fat fryer is small enough to fit on a shelf in my kitchen cupboard, which is one of the reasons I chose this model. I have already recommended a family member to buy one. The reason I gave 4 stars and not five was because I felt that cleaning wasn’t the easiest, but this tends to be a problem with deep fat fryers.

    Only one downfall.

It's pretty to look at and as a family of 6 it can fill enough chips for a family of 3 i'd say. It's a good machine and does what it's supposed to do. The ONLY thing I don't like is when the basket is hanging on the top (after cooking for draining) the chips right at the bottom of the basket are still slightly in the oil so not draining and still cooking. I have the oil to where it's supposed to be it's not over the mark.
