This Russell Hobbs is the best grind-your-own coffee maker I’ve ever found and I’ve tried a few over the years....... I was given one many, many years ago by my husband (well done him!!) and I used it every day. I became such a “coffee snob” I couldn’t drink anything other than freshly ground coffee. (I just wish it kept the pot hot for a few minutes longer.) Then, eventually, after years of making me oceans of delicious coffee, it started to leak - worn out and deserving of retirement, but......I just had to get another one ASAP and so, dear reader, I DID !!

I bought this as a replacement for the older model which packed up working after many years service. I use it everyday and love the fact that it grinds the coffee. Genrally it is better designed than the old version, but the only slight flaw for me is that wheras previously the coffee was held in container and the machine weighed and ground the exact amount each time; on the new model you have to manually measure it in. On the plus side, with this newer version the ginder in within the filter so it gets cleaned every time you clean the filter.

Excellent purchase. Can have ground or whole bean coffee and my favourite feature is the timer so I can programme it to come on in the morning whilst I'm still in bed. Highly recommend.

Since we have had it we have tried ti with coffee beans and ground coffee and found this product very good indeed this was a replacement for our old on (Different make) We would give this 5 stars very good
