You’ve already done the hardest bit and picked the perfect, new TV, so once you’ve checked out with the Set Up service, there’re a few bits we need you to get ready before we arrive:
Make sure the TV unit is wide enough for the feet or base to sit comfortably on. You can find this info on the product page.
Check all the cables are long enough to reach the TV. If you want to order any new wires, you can browse out our range here.
Your plug socket should be within 1m of your new TV. If it’s not, have an extension cable handy.
If you want us to set up your Smart TV features, you’ll need an existing WiFi network for us to connect to.
We’re happy to set up any smart TV from our range.
Sorry, no. We can’t install your TV on an existing wall bracket. Our installation service only covers setting up TVs on a pre-built stand.
Sorry, no, we can’t assemble your TV stand. If you’ve purchased a new TV stand from AO to be delivered with your TV, unfortunately we can’t assemble this either. But we can set up your TV on an existing stand or unit. So, if it's ready when we get there, we'll happily get the TV into prime position for you.
Our TV Set Up service is available in mainland England, Scotland, and Wales. Unfortunately, we can’t set up TVs in Northern Ireland.
Yes, we can take away your old TV, no problem. Just add our Remove & Recycle service to your basket and check out with the rest of your order.
Yes, we’ll connect your TV devices and WiFi if you’d like. This includes soundbars and speakers that work directly with the TV. However, we can’t log into any streaming services or smart assistant speakers for you. To ensure a smooth service, make sure you’ve got all the cables you need, the right ports on your new TV, and have your WiFi password at the ready. Our team will ask you to pop this in before they finish.
Yes, we offer next day delivery and setup, but availability depends on where you live and if an engineer is free to support. Pop in your postcode at the checkout and it’ll show you available delivery slots. If you need more help, get in touch on the Contact Us page.
If you have a problem after delivery and setup, you’ll find ways to get in touch on our Contact Us page and we’ll be happy to help. And just so you know, we might ask for the serial number on your TV to be able to look into things for you, so having this handy will be really helpful. You’ll find this on the back of your TV.
We hope you’ll be thrilled to bits with your new TV, but you can return it within 30 days if it’s not right. But if it isn’t faulty, there’s a collection charge and you might not be entitled to a full refund – for more info, head over to our Returns page. When our team has installed your new TV, we recommend you having a quick check over everything to make sure you’re happy and we can help if there’s anything you’re unsure of.
