    Awful

This hob is useless if you cook with liquids. The control panel is so sensitive if the pan spills a drop of water or you have wet/damp hands that touch the control panel it will reset the setting or turn off completely. You can't leave the pan simmering and leave the room because when you come back it has turned itself off. The fast boil setting is vert slow and again will alter to w lower setting well before boiling - Pretty useless as a hob.

    Terrible

I have to say that this is the worst domestic appliance that I have ever had by some distance and the Whirlpool customer service to rectify the fault that it developed after 9 months has been truly woeful. I would wholeheartedly recommend that you do not buy this product but spend your money on another product made by a different manufacturer. We had the product for 9 months before the right-hand side of the hotplate stopped working and have now had to wait for over a month whilst Whirlpool deign to sort it out for us. Previous to that the operation of the hob was fairly poor – the front plates are very small and you cannot fit much more than a small milk pan on them if you are using a large saucepan on the rear hobs. The various functions all seem to be relatively pointless and are really not worth paying any money for whatsoever. The worst feature though is the constant beeping. The moment that you drop the slightest amount of water on the control panel it starts beeping and refuses to stop even though you have wiped the water off. In summary, I would give it no stars if possible, but unfortunately have to give it a begrudging one.
