Versatile, useful and not too complicated
5/5
I bought this steam mop because, even after a wipe with a conventional mop, there was residual coating of dirt on the floor, nothing you could see but wiping with a damp tissue showed it wasn't as clean as it looked. A steam mop should do the trick, and so far so good. I wouldn't call the instructions comprehensive, putting it together was a bit fiddly but I assembled it OK. There are videos online that help in showing how to use it. Check them out. It's worth mentioning that when you squeeze the trigger to make it steam, it takes a few seconds for the magic to happen, which made me think, what am I doing wrong? Nope, just hold the trigger but not on the same spot for too long. Mine are laminated floors, and it all seems to work well; usefully, the pads are easily swapped over and cleaned, which is why I bought a couple of spares, just to be safe. I haven't tried the dozen attachments yet, but I have stairs and curtains waiting for steam cleaning later, as well as tiling grout. The detachable main unit, to make it a handheld steamer, is a very useful feature, but mopping the floor is where it'll get most use. It's not the lightest steam mop on the market, but it does more things than most, is manoeuvrable and easy to use. I don't ask for much more in life.
