    Fantastic purchase

Amazing, fast delivery and perfect fit. Looks like the original cooker hob and that it was exactly like the original one.

    Annoying buttons

    3/5
Frustratingly, if anything touches the buttons at the front, it activates them. Spilled water = rapidly grabbing a tea towel to mop up the water before it triggers as many buttons as possible and causes it to lock or sound a deathly *beeeeeeep*! Placing a pan lid on the hob = Triggering buttons, and having to turn the hob on again. Placing anything on the front of the hob = see above The buttons are slow, you have to hold your finger (or in my case, pan lid /puddle of water) onto them for a second for them to activate. Maybe that's a good thing, but for me I'd wish they responded faster. When the hob rings are on, they'll periodically go 'Bzzzzt'.... 'bzzzzzt' as current surges through. It'd be nice if it was quieter, I can't help but wonder if it's a fault or supposed to do that. A pro: When they're on They're ON! Set the heat to 7 for the might of Thor's charge to surge through the coil and ultimately heat the pan. 4 and below equates to redirecting the current to a nearby lemon or potato as part of a science experiment, so I generally don't use those. One thing is for sure though: after much deliberation, I'm sold on induction despite the very annoying buttons. I'd choose a different brand in future. AO were great with delivery and service as usual.

    Poor quality

    1/5
The item was sent to us and when fitted the glass came away from the base and now the fan has broken. Product is less than 6 months old.
