    Bosch Oven that Performs.

    5/5
Bosch Oven was fitted by AO in short order after less than a week. It was put into action immediately baking a sponge cake and 4 loves of bread. This it did perfectly with the loves on one level and the cake on another. The next task was a roast chicken with roast potatoes and veg...perfect. We are very happy with the new oven which is very similar to our old one which was 16 years old. However Bosh have modified the controls to make them more logical and also the fan to ensure that the heat is distributed all round the oven. We will be experimenting with the timing controls which seem easy to use and with the the new shelves to enable us to cook different items in different parts of the oven. The only down side is the lack of a grill pan handle to make it easier to remove the grill pan from the grill. However we retained our old grill pan and handle and are using that for the moment.

    Poor value for money

I'm not too impressed. The temperature of the oven I received seems unreliable: It's about ten degrees higher than the dial says, eg when the dial says 200 degrees my thermometer -- which was accurate with my old oven -- measures 210. And when dial says 50 degrees, the heat is actually 60 degrees - ie a 20percent difference which is a lot when it comes to cooking food. Initially I was going to complain about it, and then wondered if a replacement oven would be any better. I also don't like the two half trays supplied with the oven, as they take up space to store but are no use to me. And the self-cleaning aspect, which initially seemed attractive, applies only to the back of the oven and doesn't seem to work well even there. So for an expensive oven, it's not very impressive. I preferred my old Neff oven in every way, but Neff have stopped making white ovens. Even there the new oven is a very stark shade of white which does not match my mid-white white cupboards, unlike my old one. However the oven cooks food, which is its main job, so in that sense it works. It just doesn't feel like a premium product.

    It's Bosch again for us

The Bosch built-in oven is the second model we have purchased within the past 18 years but with some updates to the previous Bosch oven. I worked within the kitchen industry some 30 years ago and the Bosch brand was the oven of choice for most customers.

Unusual to find a white oven - which looks fab in my kitchen!

    Stylish modern oven

    5/5
Beautifully designed stylish oven that is clearly a premium product. I particularly like the white glass finish which is far superior to stainless steel.

    We like Bosch.

My wife discovered the Bosch White double oven on the AO website to replace our long serving AEG double oven. So far it has worked a treat, although she says it's a bit woke. Following the operating instructions to a tee, it has everything and more to keep us happy - conjuring up new and old recipes.

Excellent in every way - and one of very few white ovens currently available.
