    Lovely modern, efficient electric cooker

    5/5
Great looking electric cooker that offers everything we wanted by way of modern styling. Size as stated & with the overhang at the rear takes into consideration the existing low gas pipe on our wall, so fits to the back wall perfectly. A far simpler, basic timer than we've had before which is better & the rear hob rings are further forward meaning less splashing down the back wall. Really happy with the oven cooking so far - temperature is as the recipe states, though food does tends to cook better at the front so need to make sure we turn food round for even cooking. All-in-all a great cooker - very relieved!

A great cooker and great service from AO

    5/5
This cooker replace an earlier version which was part of the fixtures when we moved in. AO offered the best price for the latest version and it was delivered the next couple of days later. The delivery was on time and the two gentlemen that delivered the cooker took the old one out, tested the circuits and installed the new cooker. I was given instructions on the basic functions and the need to "Burn In" the paintwork before use. This advice was followed and was glad I did as the oven paint does give off a foul noxious smell for the first couple of 30 min burn ins. One done the smell goes and the cooker/ oven works extremely well. We're well chuffed with it

    Extremely happy

    5/5
Extremely happy I was worried about changing my cooker. I’ve had a billing for years and it still worked perfectly well except it was starting to look a little bit worn. I have cooked my Christmas cake this year in my new cooker, a very happy with the results. I am so pleased that I cut my old roasting tin because unfortunately you do not get a new one with the cooker just a grill pan.

    Buyers regret

    1/5
Compared to my previous Belling cookers this is disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend. No hob hot light, which is an utterly bizarre thing to omit. The dials are way too chunky, they’re not easy to use, and the light bounces off them making them difficult to read. The ovens are a huge let down, both take an age to heat up to the required temperature, I’d expect it with the top oven but not a fan oven. My previous two Belling cookers had fan ovens that heated up quicker, but you’re looking at 10-15 mins with this version, and even then I don’t think the fan oven is at the temperature on the dial. The heat isn’t even throughout, and food doesn’t cook evenly, there’s a lot of turning things round, it also takes longer to cook than it should unless I put the temp up. AO sent a Belling engineer out to check, and the very centre of the oven apparently reaches the correct temp, but my oven thermometer reads about 20 degrees lower, and judging by how things come out, I’d say it’s probably correct. (I checked the oven thermometer in other ovens to check it wasn’t faulty, and it did reach the required temp) According to the engineer it’s because it’s at the front or the side of the oven, but I thought fan ovens were supposed to have even heat? This one doesn’t. I’ve had the cooker about 6 months now, I thought I needed time to get used to it, but unfortunately my initial instincts were correct, I made a bad decision, and despite the price it seems ‘cheap’ if that makes sense. I’m writing this whilst waiting for the oven to heat up. I try not use it too often because I end up full of regret and wishing I’d had my previous one fixed. I wouldn’t buy Belling again. Unfortunately I can’t give it no stars.

Lovely cooker as always with a Belling. The only negative I’ve got is that there is no light in top oven.
