Super good extraction rate, similar noise level to other models on full power setting, easy to fit

the old style charcoal filters don't fit this modeld. Drill holes in a slightly different position as expected due to other reveiws. instructions implied the unit would sit on a bracket, but the unit is simply screwed straight to the wall.

Bought as a direct replacement for the older version of this model which had packed in. Seems to work fine, if a little on the noisy side when on the maximum setting but fans do make noise! All previous comments about different fittings apply here. This is annoying but not that big a deal. Wiring was easy as previous hood was plugged into a socket. Overall a good product.

Ir was zn excellent product at a very reasonable price. I had bought the same or simular item in 2018 until due to bad worknanship it collapsed and smashed ontop of my island. Thankfully no one was injured and no damage to the worktop. So i was looking to purchase another.

Like many other reviewers I bought this cooker hood because our previous Baumatic BECH90 had finally died after 13 years of loyal service. The new hood had to be the same size and shape because the previous owners had fitted the rest of their kitchen units around it, so this model was the only option. I had hoped to use the existing wall holes and cavity wall fixings so I was dismayed to discover that the manufacturers had moved them. Worse still they had only moved the new mounting holes about a centimetre further apart so after drilling they were so close to the old ones that they were weakened and began to crumble when the screws were tightened. I eventually had to drill out much bigger holes and use massive wall plugs with coach bolts to hang the thing. In the end it took about two hours to fit but at least it is never going to fall off. The general finish is good and the unit looks smart. I havent found the noise of the fan particularly loud even on the highest speed setting. The bulb lights on the old hood were always blowing and were fiddly to replace so I was quite impressed with the new fixed LED lights ......... until I turned them on. The old bulbs gave a warm and inviting light but the new ones give off a horrible harsh white light that makes everything look grey. I cant see any way to replace the LED fittings so I'm stuck with them. As other buyers have mentioned the fan inlets are configured for two circular charcoal filters which are not included in the box, so be prepared to fork out for some, and make absolutely sure they are compatible with the BECH90GL, there are lots of others which look the same but won't fit. The cheapest I found were just over £30 for the pair including delivery. All in all I really like the way the new cooker hood looks. It clears the steam (and sometimes smoke) from our cooker quickly and effectively. It could have scored a Five, but the fitting instructions are poorly translated from some other language and are completely useless. The LED lights are a terrible design choice and should be changed. The new mounting geometry should have been better thought out before production. The absence of charcoal filters is just penny pinching, for the price you pay they should be part of the package. So it scores Three. I just hope it lasts as long as the old one did.

A like for like replacement with our one that conked out after many years. Looks good. Like a lot of cooler hoods though doesn’t seem to extract enough cooking smells that still wage through the house. I understand the new generation of extractor works directly from your cooker, sadly the new style is beyond our price reach

Really pleased I chose this cooker hood. Quiet on all three speeds. Top speed extracts a serious air outflow. Mesh grease filters easily accessible. Bright down lights. Looks very stylish.

Great product easy install replaced previous one by same maker which lasted 15 years happy days
