    Recycling

    Thousands of appliances arrive at AO Recycling every day from our customers, businesses, retailers and local authorities. We’ve invested in our plant in Telford to make it the biggest in Europe, so we can offer you a quick, easy and bespoke recycling service.

    Hundreds and thousands of electricals are dumped illegally in the UK every year.

    Most of them could be reused or recycled. But even when they are, research shows that appliances are often not recycled properly. That’s why we opened our own recycling plant and why we’re on a mission to help you recycle your old electricals responsibly – the AO way.

    What we'll do

    • Once you've chosen your products, select recycling in the checkout to take advantage of our great service and fixed business prices.
    • On delivery day, we’ll take your old appliance away and recycle it responsibly.
